So day 1 of competition at 2010 Stylewars was called off due to fog. No matter, I managed to get a few pics of the first obstacles being hit. They were just out to get a few photos and had clearance to open up the A frame. Everything looks so good, if only we’d have a clear day.
Had a chat to the park groomer and he said they’ve been doing 14 hour days, and the park is just in absolutely perfect condition. I could hear the pain in his voice as he told me they just had to wait for the conditions to improve.
The first kicker is 60 feet, followed by the 80 foot kicker that will put the riders chair height. Then there’s the butter box to the left, with a kinked rail behind it, and the A frame to the right of the butter box with a nice long rail to finish off.
I’ll keep you posted on anything that comes up. At the very least it’ll be a big night with Bag Raiders playing at The Man tonight.
