This Saturday night (May 12th) On Point Collective, Nitro and 3CS are getting down to The Vineyard in St Kilda (Vic) to celebrate the coming of winter 2012. All the details are on the flyer below – there’s a photo comp, som drink specials and a bunch of good crew.

Courtney Phillipson is joining Robbie Walker, Andy Lloyd, Nick Wood, Richie Carroll, Tim Nelson and Michaela Davis-Meehan on the K2 team, as well as Andy Lloyd and Jake McCarthy on the Australian Holden team. I hit up Saun Belmore for a photo for this post and he was good enough to put together the attached clip from their riding over the last season (thanks Shaun!). Congrats to CP as well as Holden and K2.

I got sent this rad little clip of Nick Wood riding overseas late last week. The edit was done by Rob Stagg and Wood looks like he’s killing it over there. Check it out!

Here’s a clip from the Billabong ‘Flaunt It’ comp held in Tahoe featuring Jamie Anderson. There’s some great riding in here as well as a rad editing job… Maybe a little of Andy Lloyd’s style? I’m not sure if he was involved or not but it’s definitely worth a watch.

Radical Gloves have put out this clip featuring Brian Goodwin, Jeremy Burns and Tom Clairs. It’s actually awesome – love the edit and was a lot of fun to watch. Check it out!

First rail jam of the season is announced with the 2012 ESS Billy Rail Jam going down on May 19th at the Erina, NSW store. If you have never been to one of these, I highly recommend you get along – always a really good night! This year will have the skate comp, the rail jam and the Forum chili dog eating contest. Here’s the teaser for Poor Traits featuring Australian’s Louis Macindoe, Tom Pelley, Richie Carroll and Tom Reilly riding in Russia. The video is available with the new issue of Transfer Magazine which is apparently on shelves today. Looks pretty rad guy – can’t wait to check it out!

Vincent Urban and Alex Schiller are back with their considerable skill for the latest Isenseven installment, Fool’s Gold. The one features Alex Tank, Benny Urban, Tobi Strauss, Fips Strauss, Peter König, Tom Klocker, Luka Jeromel, Marco Smolla, Colin Frei, Kevin Bäckström, and more. The teaser starts a little differently and looks like it’s going to be another amazing film from the guys!

Signal Snowboards created a promo board for the band Bush that includes a stash section. The artwork is pretty cool but if you only have a minute, it is worth skipping to the end when it gets ridden.

Site regular Ed Jones took his annual trio to Nozawa Onsen in Nagano over summer. He spent some time riding with Jason Maxfield and got some amazing powder. Check the footage below.

Nitro Snowboards are doing a competition called ‘One Run’ which I really hope is open to Australians. The comp asks users to submit one end-to-end run on film for the Nitro team to vote on. The good dudes at Lifewithoutandy have been circling the globe recently catching some pretty damn epic occasions… from parties in Sydney to Perez Hilton in Texas and Danny and Dingo at the 2012 Grenade Games. They sent me through a few shots from the day to share with you and there is a TONNE more over here. Looks like it was a bit of fun – I hope those stickers had some kind of thermal tech in them!

Grenade Games 8 is happening on March 24th and 25th at Bear Mountain and they’ve released a trailer for it. Aside from the obvious eye candy, the trailer is actually really well pieced together – check it out below!

This time the guys take a trip to do a bunch of urban riding in Rossland and compete in Rossvegas Boardstore’s ‘The Game’ Rail Jam before heading to Red Mountain. The series features Mat Galina, Tristan Hansen, Troy Lawrence, Cavin Donald, David Kinskofer, Erik Gelling, Eric Turgeon and Jamie Corneal.

Marc Frank Montoya and Stevie Bell got some good days at Snowbird recently and captured it on their GoPro. Check the footage below – looks like an epic day!

Shaun White hit his first Burton US Open in a few years over the weekend in Stratton and it was a worthwhile trip wth him taking away US$25,000 for the halfpipe win. White’s first run included a method, front double cork 10 stalefish, cab double cork 10 melon, front inverted 540 stale, backside double McTwist 12 and an alley oop backside rodeo which was enough to secure the win. Louie Vito and Benji Farrow too the other places on the podium.

The Burton 2012 European Open was held on a beautiful day in Laax, Switzerland over the weekend. In the mens, Ipod (Iouri Podladtchikov) took out the win followed by Danny Davis and Ryo Aono. The winning run from Ipod included front 900 tail, back 9 mute, front double cork 10 and a cab double cork 10 mute. In the womens, Kelly Clark won with Gretchen Bleiler taking silver and Yuki Furihata for the bronze. Check out a bunch of shots from the day above!
