Charles Beckinsale has dropped me an update on the Thredbo park for the new season along with a few photos of the features that are going to be going out. Have a read below for deets and check out the images in the gallery above!

According to the Sports Business Journal, Shaun White and Red Bull have failed to reach agreeable terms to extend their association together. This could be an opening for one of the other beverage companies to snap up the worlds second most powerful athlete. Personally, I’d like to see him riding for Gatorade who I think have a good thing going. Be really, really interesting to see where this goes.

Our good friend and amazing photographer, Dan Himbrechts, has got a bit of his work on display around Martin Place station in Sydney at the moment. There’s a few photos from Tony Harrington and Camilla Stoddart as well.The work is to promote Air New Zealand but really, all you need to know is that the place is looking better than it ever has. I know this is old but I hadn’t seen it as yet and it’s pretty damn amazing. Here’s a bit of raddness from Torstein Horgmo to start the day. Seriously, the last heli shot gives me goose bumps… Or maybe that’s the fact that it’s damn freezing and the snow is falling! As we’ve mentioned previously, Tommo from Lifewithoutandy got to hit up Japan earlier in the year for the Japan Jam, sponsored by Jagermeister. Pierre Minhondo has released a teaser for his latest flick, Good Look. The film features JP Walker, Eero Niemela, Eric Jackson, Joe Sexton, Simon Chamberlain, Shaun McKay, Lauri Heiskari, Heikki Sorsa, Aaron Biittner, Torstein Horgmo and friends. Minhondo directed the film in conjunction with Justin Eeles and Sam Hiltner. It looks like it’s going to be awesome! Check it out.

Windells have released this awesome clip called The Diggers – not as we know them but rather the park crew who kept things neat last season for the guys. The text with the video says “A lot of their time is spent shoveling, shaping and salting, but they always make sure there is plenty of time for testing.” A super fun video – enjoy!

Matty Gillings shot through this rad little edit from a recent trip to Japan. Called Monday Mash, it features Matty Gillings, Alex Horvath, Owen Newman, Kel Atkinson, Nick Esser, Jake McCarthy and Eddy Richards. Check it out!

These have taken me way to long to get live… Reuben Cameron sent me through some shots of his latest work while at June Mountain. He said, “The jump is about 112 feet to the sweet spot … you can see me in some of the pics for height reference on the take off. June has been goin’ big at photo shoot time this year.” Killing it – can’t wait to see what he comes up with in Aus this year!

Signal have released their latest Every Third Thursday episode with the guys making aboard game board this week. I don’t know if it’s really all that ride-able but the game it’s self is pretty rad. Check it out!

The annual ESS Rail Jam is happening tomorrow (Saturday 21st of May) – the day kicks off at ESS Erina from 12pm with the finals happening at 6pm. The final episode of Snowboard Realms for this season is up now. In this one, TJ and crew hit the Super Park event at Mt Bachelor and have a rad time. Can’t wait for next years eps! Enjoy.

The start of the Australian season is upon us with perisher announcing plans to open this Friday and Saturday.

Jake Burton has got a feature in the new Mini International magazine. The feature talks about creating Burton and how the business and his life runs today – it’s an interesting read. I’m not sure if you can buy the magazine (they turn up in my post box every couple of months) but you can peep a few spreads above.

Travis Rice is working hard on the final few shoot for his next release, Art Of Flight. Recently, the crew hit a closed section of Aspen to fire up Brain Farms absolutely awesome arsenal where they had plans to get some bangers from the likes of Scotty Lago, Danny Davis, Jack Mitrani and Luke Mitrani. Apparently there’s a 90 foot kicker they’re going to be hitting – I’d love to be there for it! More on that …

I got a surprise this morning when I hit up The Berrics… Steve Berra had an announcement up saying “If the Alien Workshop can be owned by a snowboard company, there shouldn’t be any hiccups in our transition into the more popular, more respected, more hot chicks, more everything Olympian sport of snowboarding.” I’ll let you find out what it’s all about by heading over here.

At the Nike Snowboarding launch last week, we worked with Amie Frances to recreate the gothic/horror table setting from the Danny Kass commercial (which you can see here). Amie did an INCREDIBLE job – the table looked amazing. As people entered into the top room at the venue, they could jump in for a photo from Steve Gourlay… So rad. A few weeks ago the annual Grenade games was held at Bear Mtn, California. They have put together this rad little clip of the festivities featuring our very own Mr Tom Pelley shredding in the park. And what would a few park laps be without Mr Pelley performing a few of his signature tame dogs….

Last night we had the launch of Nike Snowboarding in Australia. It was one pretty amazing night – the place was packed and many, many drinks were enjoyed. Hey Guys! We just finished up with our park shoot. Koia and I drove down to Boreal in Tahoe to hang with Kegan and the boys. They had built a couple rad jumps for us! I had fun shredding with the guys but tweaked my knee after a few laps so had to end my session early. Check a few shots from the day above!
