So, X Games 17 went down last weekend and Shaun White managed to break PLG’s Gold Medal run taking it with an amazing 93 point run. You can watch the battle in the video below – the height he can get is always mind blowing. The rest of the results are below that; Nyjah Huston won the street section, Silas Baxter-Neal took out Real Street and Burnquist took out the Big Air.

The new Nike SB shoe from P. Rod is out next month and they have released a bit of a teaser for it. The new shoes features Lunarlon – tech imported from other sports and first featured by Nike in the Koston 1’s. I’m a bit of a fan of these ones, check out the teaser clip over here.

Street League Arizona went down over the weekend with the finals happening this morning Australian time. The finals came down to a close battle between Nyjah Huston, Chris Cole and Ryan Sheckler but in the end, Huston took out his third consecutive win for the season putting his total winnings for the year (from this contest alone) at over $450,000. Chad Muska has posted a You Tube video to apologize for using the N-word during his arrest last week shown back here. This weeks Port Phillip Leader cover was something for skaters to celebrate. Chad Muska took to his twitter this morning with a series of emotional messages that indicate he might have some issues with the launch of the Skytop III. You can see the posts below but he starts with a few about feeling on the outside at the launch party for his latest creation and goes on to say, “I don’t give a shit. Kick me off. Police have rushed out the report from the crash and the and toxicology results from Ryan Dunn. The report says he was doing between 132mp/h and 140mp/h (225km/h) when he lost control of the car. He had a blood alcohol level of 0.196% which is more than twice the legal limit for the state of Pennsylvania where the crash occurred and is almost four times the legal limit for Australia.
