Way better than hedging our bets and doing something on the off chance that those wacky scientist types were right and the world is in a propulsion free, small water craft on a murky river (ie. Up shit creek without a paddle). Still, in more important news, Zac Efron (?) skates, some great collab apps and Victoria’s Secret creates a book you’ll want to read again and again …

Zac Efron’s Skate House -I ignore most of what this guys does but he has impressed me with this one thing … he has purchased his first house and had the interior re-kitted to make it ‘skateable’. Concrete floors and clean open spaces. Pretty rad and as ESPN mentioned, shows how mainstream skating is becoming.

It’s all over for Saab – This probably holds little interest for most people as Saab as a brand is really a non event however Jeremy Clarkson has written a very entertaining review of the 9-3X 2.0 Turbo XWD. Check it out.

Stop, Collaborate – Here’s five great online collaboration tools. These aren’t the kind that will give you a very saleable brand mash-up but rather tools to help you work on different projects. For Rick, Drew and I, the best tool we’ve had in the last five years is Skype – it gave us a ‘virtual office’ while we were still working from our respective appartments. We are also fans of Google Docs and I’m keen to give Wave a go too. Useful little applications.

David Mitchell on the Environment – If you read any of David Mitchell’s work after I posted the link the other week, you’ll know what a genius this guys is. He’s posted a hilarious account of the changes needed to stem global warming and tied it in with Tiger’s indiscretions.

Branson’s Stewardess Challenge – Richard Branson has challenged rival airline owner Tony Fernandes to an amusing F1 bet … If the Air Asia boss Fernandes loses, he will work a shift as a Virgin Airline stewardess. The reverse will happen should Fernandes triumph.
