So, today was the opening of Frankston’s newest skate shop, Fast Times Skateboarding. The guys decided on a low key opening, just inviting a few special people like Koston, Biebel, Anderson, Mike Mo, Malto, McCrank, Olson… Oh, and a couple of hundred locals to come and wear in the freshly sanded floor and check out the new place. Aside from some pretty fresh merch and the “Fast Times at Ridgemont High” theme, the store features some of the best people in skate retail, Mark Grayson, Andrew Tebb and Matty McAughtrie. Of course this comes from a very biased source – my introduction to the skate, snow, surf industry came courtesy of Grayson when I worked in the first PSC store on the highway in Frankston.
