For anyone on the east coast who’s looking for some pre-summer stokage you’re in luck. Samsung and Quiksilver are touring the Australian Surf Movie Festival with 28 shows along the east coast (it actually started last week). They’re showing 2 films, Flow and First Chapter. Just quickly; Flow was awarded Best Documentary at the X-Dance Film Festival in the US. Director/Writer/Producer Josh Landan worked with Producer/Writer/Editor Scott Stankey to put together a documentry about Channel Islands Surfboards founder Al Merrick.
