Europe’s only rider owned media network, Tacky, has just bought Nolla.net – the largest skateboarding website in Finland. This means that the guys at Tacky now have over 1.4 million readers each month. The thing that impresses me most about this, is that Tacky produces each of their magazines and websites in the local languages – so their news is currently presented in 8 languages… We struggle with (and manage to ruin) the one language we have to work in.
