Freestyle Media in the UK has suspended operations at their  title, Snowboard UK. The releases that I have seen lay blame on the financial crisis while many commenters in forums are claiming that the UK snowboard scene could never support three UK magazines, two European based English language magazines alongside the US titles. This raises questions about the landscape in Australia where we have a shorter winter and far less access to snow, with three snowboard pay-per-issue magazines plus the American mags and occasionally UK/Euro magazines.
