I’m bumping this news article up because it’s happening this weekend! Quiksilver, Oakley and Nike are putting in $7500 for the ‘Viva Prahran’ skate comp this Saturday at, you guessed it, Prahran skatepark (a suburb of Melbourne for those that haven’t been). There’s a vert jam session, am (un-sponsored) and pro (sponsored) street ‘divisions’ and 30 minutes of madness for the best trick. Judging by the turn out at the last Quiksilver skate contest this should be huge. I’ll be there taking some snaps. Go here or here for more information.
