What did you spend your Friday night doing? I spent mine preparing for Earth Hour tonight. I got in the spirit and re-strung my 25,000 imported Italian Twinkle Lights, rigged up a couple of strobes and rented a Hydrargyrum medium-arc iodide lamp for the evening (I know its excessive but if you cant do it for Earth Hour, when can you do it?). Needless to say, my home will be a beacon of light in an otherwise dark time – I look forward to seeing ships coming ashore somewhere near St Kilda… It’s happening at 8pm tonight, check their website for details.
