Here’s the spiel: Sharpen your edges and practice your high speed power shredding. Its been rumored for about 15 years now but The Mt Hotham Banked Slalom is happening this Saturday the 15th August. An epic snowboard event of legendary proportion! Fastest time gets their name engraved on the perpetual trophy and wins a flight to Mt Baker and entry into the Legendary Baker Banked Slalom! The course will be set down the infamous Gun Barrel run on Heavenly Valley. Everybody is welcome to compete. Even if you don’t think you can take out first place you can still try to beat all of your mates and make yourself known as the fastest shredder in the gang.
