Sidelife, the distribution company that bring us Huffer, Lib Tech, Gnu, Lola & Evie and the radtastic shop The Lab had their christmas party at Melbourne’s newest place to be The Blue Tile Lounge. The venue itself is built to be rock n’ roll in true skater style. With Animal Chin playing on the projector, The Killer Robots rocking out in front of the entrance, artwork by Marc Baker and Carmel Seymour, free beer and jelly shots flowing it was always going to be a fun night. Besides The Killer Robots, who surprised all with a tight energetic set, the high light of the night had to be an un-named shoe company team manager dancing in front of a high powered fan in true R Kelly style. I’m still laughing. Read more for all the photos.
