Mt. Hotham Park Update: Sept. 3rd

butter pad

Mt. Hotham’s Terrain Park guy, Greg Clarke, shot us through a park update last night. Check below the cut for a description of the park, some footage and a tonne of photos.

From Greg Clarke:

Bring on spring! The Summit Park has had a freshen up, most notably with the addition of a new butter pad. Thredbo have already done a great job on a very similar one, but our head park groomer has been talking about building this all year, so with some new snow we let him loose. Also, the intermediate jump line has been rebuilt along with installing a new jib line, adding a down rail, flat down box, up flat rail and up-gap-down rail/box. The Basin Park also had a change up, with a new 6m down pipe added, the up box turned into a down box and the c-box set up as an up c-box. Here are some pics we took Tuesday and a vid from yesterday. This Saturday we have our postponed ‘Roast Leg of Air’ Big Air comp, so here’s hoping for some more nice weather.
