Ali Boulala has been given a minimum two years jail for his part in the accident that took the life of Shane Cross. Rumor has it that no one, including the family of Shane Cross, supported giving Ali jail time but the judge said in sentencing that Ali was “aware of the potential ramifications” of his actions. Jail time doesn’t bring back anyone and doesn’t help the Cross family so it is hard to see the point – hopefully sense will prevail soon and Ali will remain free.
