If an article in yesterdays Australian is to be believed, the Rebel Tour is dead. The organizers declined all requests to talk to The Australian and ASP’s CEO Brodie Carr announced in the release we posted here, “that the ASP had retained the support of the sport’s athletes and sponsors.” which is being taken to mean that Matt Tinley and Terry Hardy’s dream of a so-called Champions Tour appears to be dead. There doesn’t seem to be any confirmation anywhere that this is the case but I’ll keep looking. Check the Australian article here.
