ANALOG CLOTHING RELEASES 5th PLA SERIES

Analog Clothing’s 5th PLA series will start to hit stores this November. The series features photographers including Bill Romerhaus, Tobin Yelland, Arto Saari, and Greg Hunt.

This exclusive series is designed to showcase the artwork of Analog artists, team riders, photographers, and friends. ‘Permanent Light Archive’ refers to the technical process of turning light captured by film into a permanent image, and to the permanent impact that artists have on our lives and culture. The PLA series continues to expand our platform for creativity, family of artists, and the unique take on reality communicated through their work.

Below is information regarding PLA Series 5. Each t-shirt’s title corresponds to the photographer.

Photo: The Anahulu Stream bridge also known as Rainbow Bridge is a true historic landmark in the town of Haleiwa on the north shore of the island of Oahu, Hawaii. The double arch bridge was built in 1921and spans 161 feet across the Anahulu Stream. One of its most prominent features is its very narrow vehicular passing lanes which can be treacherous. Bill captured the Rainbow Bridge in the perfect light.

Photo: James spent some time living with this man in his tent, and wanted to capture the moment as shown here.
Photographer: “James is the craziest man beast roaming this earth. He is a daddy long legged gypsy with a mane of hair like a lion, one of the most talented artists I’ve ever met and he has a really good red eye for photography. He is down to hang out with whomever, whatever, where ever he is. It just doesn’t matter. Just one of those people that when you meet him you think he is psychotic, but then you realize he has life figured out, and that you’re actually the one that’s crazy…….I believe he is living in New York right now but is from Connecticut or something. He likes to scream out loud in public places for no reason. Just a great human being.” – Jordan Brock, Skate Team Assistant

Analog: Location?
Ryan: Washington St. A skater built park under a highway in San Diego. Score one for the skaters. Go to their site and make a donation here. Keep things like this alive!

Analog: What you were doing there? Who you were with?
Ryan: I was down at the park several times for a few months and would dedicate a little time each trip to shoot some park landscapes. I was there with Matt Mumford one of the sickest Washington street locals. Props to anyone that can skate that place!

Photographer: Ryan Allen is currently a freelance photographer with a background in and love for skateboarding. He frequently works with the Analog skate team, and is a friend of the brand. www.ryanallan.com
