I can’t think of a better way to start my multi-part SIA Tradeshow at Las Vegas update than with Dingo’s 21st birthday party. I mean, what other kid do you know that has his 21st in Las Vegas, at a strip club, sponsored by Boost Mobile, Grenade, Oakley and Monster Energy, has Mark Frank Montoya DJing, Trevor Andrew playing, a surprise set from Renee Renee and performance’s from Pitbull and Rick Ross! After spending all day Monday walking around the tradeshow getting boozed up from the Rome bar, Burton’s keg or cans from Nikki at Forum’s bar fridge, it was time to roll over to Dingo’s and take it up a notch. Some random muttered that we should bring two livers. POP’s resident Polishmen Jan quickly shot back that he was born with two. Yep, it was going to be that kind of night. The venue, Sapphire Gentlemen’s Club, was spilt into two rooms for the night. One was the regular strip club room, the other was set aside for all the snowboard dirtbags that were set to invade. Us included.
As we lined up outside I was very much aware that most, if not all, the non-stripper girls must have gone to the Burton fashion show because the crowd was as you’d expect for a strip club, very manly. However it’s hard to worry about the ratio too much when there’s naked girls walking around. Once inside we headed straight to the bar to top up our buzz and listen to MFM play some records. After an hour or so Renee Renee came out of no where in his trademark one piece and worked the crowd into a frenzy so Trevor Andrew and his NYC friends could really get things started.
After a quick happy birthday song for Dingo it was time for Pitbull. Let’s just say he tore the place apart. You’ll see form the photos below. At one stage there was Dingo, Danny Kass, Pitbull and 6 strippers up on the stage going crazy. It was nuts! That’s when Rick Ross stepped in and I passed out…
