You might have seen a few ‘Do The Dew’ ads around at the moment and a contest to win a trip to the States – this is part of Mountain Dew’s push for tour events in Australia. Following on from the successful Battle for Supremacy at Monster Park in Sydney last summer and at the Hut Jam at Mt. Buller during the snow season, Dew have finally announced their venue for the first of a two stop event series in Australia this summer. It will be held on Saturday December 12th at Federation Square in Melbourne. There’s going to be a $20,000 prize purse for the day. The Sydney event will be held on Saturday February 6th but there’s no venue announced for that stop yet.

From the planning and development that I’ve seen over the last few months, the street skate series is going to be some of the biggest skate events ever seen in Australia… That’s not from a press release and it isn’t hype, it’s fact.
