There’s a guy that stands on the corner of Bourke and Swanston St. in Melbourne shouting crazy shit at anyone within earshot. Parliament House has a version of him too … He’s called Barnaby Joyce. Seriously, that guy is a danger to the sanity of others, I want to bash my head against my desk every time I see him. On calmer topics, check below for hot chocolate ideas, Tom Ford’s journey, a pretty powerful story and five sexy videos.
Tea Infused Hot Chocolate – Okay, I don’t mean to get all Martha Stewart but this gives me the opportunity to plug one of my favorite places to go in Melbourne … Lifehacker has an article in using tea to give a new twist to your hot chocolate. They tried teas like earl grey, pepermint herbal and vanilla herbal to give a new after taste. However, if you really want a twist on your hot chocolate, you have to go to San Churros and buy your self a Hot & Cold – You’re welcome.
Complex on Tom Ford – Former creative director of Gucci (after basically performing a miracle and reviving the near bankrupt company), head of YSL and now running his own label, Tom Ford, has got a small art house film out called, A Single Man. Not a huge release, but getting great reviews on the festival circuit. Complex have a quick bio on the man – worth a read.
A Heavy Story – Political blogger Luke Ryan wrote a piece for The Vine on Friday that blew me away. It’s about his house mate who committed suicide last Thursday … His house mate was a young, gay male and Luke’s piece explores the statistical link between suicide and that demographic along with issues like gay marriage. Not a lighthearted read but well worth it.
And Finally – Something different! Five of the sexiest, most suggestive, video clips ever made … Or at least the ones that I could find. You can kill the sound on all except the Kid Cudi clip. Enjoy your week!
