Hope you all had a great break over the last few days – I’ve done the usual Christmas thing, that is I ate too much at home and then went to the local pub with a mate to spread the cheer … by which I mean we drank beer of course. In non-holiday related news, Vegas has a new city center, Aston Martin are about to make a terrible mistake and Doutzen Kroes stands around in her underwear. Yey!

Vegas’ New CityCentre – MGM Grand has spent $9 billion creating a massive new complex next to the Bellagio hotel on the Vegas strip. The new complex features a number of hotels (4,004 rooms in total), restaurants, a casino, convention center and a high-end shopping mall … it’s great cause Vegas has none of those things at the moment.

Aston Martin Cygnet – This is horrendous … Why would Aston do such a thing? The Cygnet is a small ‘concept’ based on the Toyota iQ with a bit of a tricked up interior. The engine is exactly the same, the layout is the same but the price is estimated to be way above the iQ. Someone needs to stop them from doing this.

The Story of Duke Nukem – I’m not into video games but I remember being quite into Duke Nukem when I was at school. The story of its creation and how its makers failed to create a follow up after 12 years of work and tens of millions of dollars is a pretty amazing read.

Apple Tablet announcement coming? – Apple are planning an event for January for something … No one is quite sure what. But all the hype is around either an Apple Tablet, which would be an upsized iPhone, or a hi-res iPhone. With the amount of people announcing ‘tablet-friendly’ apps and publications, they’d be hoping the Tablet is here.

And Finally – Victoria’s Secret model Doutzen Kroes … Do I need to say anything else?
