Nike 6.0 Sposoring AST Dew Tour

AST, the umbrella group for the Dew Tour have announced that Nike 6.0 is taking the option for the footwear, outerwear and apparel sponsorship of the tour. For the uninitiated, Nike 6.0 is more of an ‘action sports’ footwear range covering snow, surf and other less important action sports. This is distinct from Nike SB which is skate only. The Dew Tour’s next event is the Panasonic Open in Baltimore from June 19th to 22nd. Check below the cut for the full release.

OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE – NEW YORK – June 9, 2008 – The Action Sports Tour, the umbrella brand and organization of the world’s most prestigious action sports properties, announced Monday, June 9, that Nike 6.0 has signed on as an associate sponsor for the AST Dew Tour and AST Winter Dew Tour.

As an associate sponsor, Nike 6.0 will receive tour-wide exclusivity in the footwear, athletic and casual apparel, and outerwear categories. Nike 6.0 will also receive fully integrated marketing benefits, including television ads on NBC and USA Network, online and on-site exposure as well as inclusion in the Tour’s multi-million dollar marketing campaign.
