In sad news, amazingly hilarious and controversial comedian George Carlin passed away this week of heart failure at the age of 71. Carlin had a long rich life in comedy and was once subjected to U.S. Supreme Court decision regarding his vulgarity. Always topping greatest stand up lists, Carlin was truly an amazing comedian, his influence was as far reaching as his popularity. His link to POP and what we do here? One of his jokes inspired an early CKY stunt. That has something to do with skateboarding, kind of. And I thrive on vulgarity, his rendition of ‘the aristocrats’ was amazing. Unfortunately i couldn’t find a link to it, so you will have to settle for the South Park version.
