I was surpirsed at the amount of people at the ‘House The Art Going?’ show this past weekend. For a local art show in ghetto fabulous Seaford, Victoria, it was impressive. The show featured works by POP favorites Cast and Gamble but also surpirsed us with work from Andy Murphy, Dave McAleese, Rudin Rashid, Stuart Robinson and Alan Snoxall. I’m not sure who’s house it was but the guys cleared everything out, repainted the wall and went to work on a room each. Pretty cool idea and as the night wore on more and more of the corwd gave it a go by writing on the walls with Posca paint pens. In a scene very reminiscent of my high school days, they had a DJ set up in the front room and a fire blazing in the driveway, oh and of course that one person that always party a little too hard…

Maunder delivered with an house of brutalness. However i did hear some regae at one point in the night. There’s a future is this DJing caper for you Midget.

If you look closely there’s a photo here of Matt Maunder without any clothers on at the door of a club. After a few beers Matt told us the story. Apparently the bouncers didn’t like the look of him so he came back with nohting on but a hat. Funny!
