ESPN is reporting that the Maloof’s are set to drop US$2 million on a New York version of their skate comp. It will be held on June 5th and 6th at Flushing Meadows Park in Queens and the winner walking away $100,000 richer. In the release it says, “The Maloofs have agreed to donate the $1.8 million, world-class skate park they will build for the competition to the city of New York through the City Parks and Recreation Department’s “Adopt-A-Park” program.” There’s a teaser video below to check out – can’t wait to see the comp!
