So, rumors are floating around that the Globe Intl. owned PSC store on Swanston St. in Melbourne is set to become a ‘Foot Locker‘ style store for action sports shoes. If the rumors are correct, the store will no longer sell skate hardware, just footwear. At this stage there is nothing firm on what’s happening with apparel for the store or what will happen to the remaining PSC stores nationally. I’ve contacted Globe about this yesterday and am waiting for a response. Personally, I think this could turn out to be a pretty rad idea, especially now that there are so many skate footwear lines around – let’s hope Globe have the right people looking after it to make it good. I’ll let you know when I know more.
