Last night we did a rebuild in the Slopestyle, and our new Prinoth Bison X park cat got a work out. It was a long night for the groomers and a busy morning for the Rake crew but everyone seems stoked with the new layout. We now have a tripple jump line that goes 30 foot Curve step down, 40 foot true table top, and 45 foot step down. Where the last jump usually is we put in a 6m Cannon box as we want to make sure we have enough snow to build the bottom jump to full size before we build it. We rebuilt the jib line as well, moving the beginner features to Leichardt. We now have an 8m Yard down rail followed by our 10m Rainbow rail that we refurbished this summer. Next we changed the Flat Down Combo box so it is now a 6m flat X 9m Down, witch sets you up for the 9m down Donkey rail. Now that we have more runs open and it’s not as busy on Front Valley with school holidays we’ve been given more space at the bottom of the park so we set up a 6m banked “C” box that flows around the rock and down into a 6m Up / Down rail. We still have more room and and plan to put in the 10m “S” rail in next to the Stall Ball tonight. We opened Leichardt park for the season this morning and added 4 boxes and 4 rollers. It is more geared to beginners with a 3m Dance Floor box, two 3m boxes and an 8m Ledge box. Yabby rider cross was rebuilt yesterday and has a couple more berms and rollers and Blue Cow park is being groomed every night by our newest park groomer from Aspen, Colorado. The snowmakers have been nuking snow in the pipe site and it looks to be cold all week, so we’ll be pushing snow around there soon.
