Our good friends Chris Boadle and Shane Carter have been chillin’ in Chile. The boys are supposedly there for some Burton thing but truth be told I’m pretty sure the guys were just stoked to go and ride with all the Burton crew. Here’s what Chris Boadle had to say….
We were over there for the Burton summer sales meeting. Jake [Burton] was there with his whole family as well as the big dogs from Burton HQ. Mikkel, Keegan and Elena Hight were also there to just chill with everyone. Chile is a pretty crazy place. Extremely under developed resort for the terrain. It also has some of the best heli boarding in the world and in one run we dropped 5000 feet! It’s super like New Zealand in that you get big dumps and then long periods of blue skies. We lucked the blue skies…
BASTARDS! Those guys are where I should be… Instead I’ve spent my Saturday night learning how to Jump Jump – that’s right, if this magazine thing doesn’t work out, my backup is to be the miggida miggida miggida Mac Daddy. Believe dat!
