The 2010 Dew Hut Jam has just finished with Jake Koia and Stef Zeestraten taking out the $12,000 first prize. The guys were riding for Oakley and faced stiff competition from the likes of Billabong who had Robbie Walker and Clint Allan riding; along with DC who has fielded both Ryan Tiene and Scotty James. The Billabong guys did take out the best trick award for Walker’s fast plant off Allan’s board who was lying on the top of the hut. 2010 is the first year we have seen a Rookie Award in the contest – Gatorade offered $4,000 and a series of AIS sweat tests to a rider under 21 years old that performed well. Chris Decampo, riding for the Burton team, won the award. There will be footage and photos along with extended coverage available on Pop in the coming days.
