Street League put up the above video this morning in part explaining how ISX will work. For those that don’t know, ISX is the instant scoring system that has been developed over the last few years by Rob Dyrdek and his team to create a skate contest where every trick counts and each trick you do has a score instantly allocated to it and it positions you appropriately on a leaderboard. The objective is to create comps that are more engaging for a spectator to watch and to give accurate story lines and history to each rider – over the season, riders will develop better scores in certain areas, have comparable percentages in some areas and other measurements that will hopefully push the contests to be more captivating. Check it out!
