Boost Mobile SNOSHO Winner – Clint Allan!

Clint Allan, 2007 SNOSHO winner!

I know I promised an update Saturday night but after the craziest day ever getting ready for the event, once the contest had finished and Clint Allan was walking away with a $15,000 over-sized-novelty-cheque and a 32″ Samsung LCD, all I wanted to do was hook into the free beer at the after party. So, after dusting myself off this morning I’m going over Dan Himrechts photos from the night and re-checking the results. Robbie Walker took out best trick with a Front 10, he scored $1,000 for his efforts. Ryan Gardiner walked away happy with $10k for winning longest rail. He pulled up just short of Ryan Thorley’s world record, which was set in the qualifiers. Nugget was last seen heading for the travel agents, booking himself a trip to Bali. The big winner of the night was Clint Allan who was considerably richer than me at 9.30pm Saturday night. Clint won after landing a Backside 720, Straight Air, Cab 270, a Backside 3 Stony Baloney and finished with a controversial Switch 50/50 on the rail. Chris Eacott warranted a special mention for generally ruling! The international contingent put on a great show with Wyatt Caldwell and Jake Koia impressing the crowd. You’ll have to wait to peep the party photos but in the mean time you will be able to catch a recap of the contest on Channel 9 in two weeks time and you can see some of Dan’s photos under the cut.
