I just came across this. I know, I know. It’s got skiing in it as well but the production values and the fact that Blank Paper Studio’s helped with it means that it is worthy of a site spot. For those that haven’t heard, Nike ACG is the snow arm of Nike. After their success in the skateboard world with their ‘limited edition’ marketing thing, they are taking the same formula to the snow arena for what must be their second or third go at busting into the snow scene. I’m not saying the gear won’t be any good – if anyone has some serious money they can put into R&D, it’s Nike – but I’m not sure, no matter how good they are, that they can re-create the hype they managed with reprising their old sneakers in limited quantities. Still, like I said, the teaser has some good points and it will be interesting to see how the video comes out.
