John Thwaites (ski.com.au photo) has been eating some baller ass chicken dinners.

It seems the mainstream media might be a little out of touch. Last week there was a huge blow-up about the former Environment Minister for Victoria, John Thwaites, eating free meals up at Buller that had a price tag somewhere in the range of $5,500. It would appear that Age writer Josh Gordon has not been to the snow recently. All $5,500 gets you at Buller is a sausage roll and a can of coke. I’m stoked someone is getting something free up there – I mean with that gate entry scam happening during the winter there’s plenty of cash for this sort of thing, it might as well go on feeding this guy. I think Josh Gordon missed the real story here… And that is, how come the guys at POP don’t get $5,500 dinners at Buller? I’ll write positive shit for free food… Ya gotta hussle son.
