Shaun White celebrated his 21st birthday in Las Vegas at the Playboy Club in the Palms Hotel two weeks ago. This was, unusually, reported by celebrity stalker Perez Hilton (click the above photo to peep the article) – then because it was on his site, it was picked up by The Skateboard Mag, which then caused it to be picked up by Skateboardingsucks.com. And as much as I wish I could say I heard about it from more credible industry-related sites, alas it was my addiction to this kind of rubbish reporting that lead me to find these images. So, the thing that strikes me most about this photo is, of course, Shaun’s pants – maybe it was a joke… Maybe. Or maybe it was to prove that when you’re as good as Shaun White, you can wear whatever ridiculous shit you want and still manage to be surrounded by major babes. I could walk into my local wearing a solid gold suit and I would still only get the same seedy pickup lines I always get from the seniors at the pokies spending their pension cheques.
