Back in the day, long before I was a part of this glamorous magazine world, I used to spend my days guarding a surf/skate store in the small seaside town of Rosebud, Victoria. It’s a quiet little town where you don’t need to be afraid to wear that matching Kappa parachute silk jacket and button down trousers tracksuit. Amongst the thieving 12 year olds it has also bred some mighty fine skaters over the years including my friend, the always controversial, Steele Saunders. Anyway, Rosebud has finally got itself a skatepark and Billabong is bringing Aaron Rowe and Russell Grundy down for the opening on Sunday October 14th.
