Nike SB “Nothing But The Truth” Premiere

The Nike logo was projected onto the side of a building to help the more inebriated of the attendee’s find their way there.

Last night we went along to the Nike SB premiere of Nothing But The Truth. First up, and most importantly… was the film any good? Short answer, Yes. I can’t give a full review of the film until I have seen the DVD as premiere conditions always make it hard to properly judge a film… even from the VIP area – thats right, I got one of the prized red armbands. The film started out brilliantly with Australian Louis Marnell getting the opening part. The stand out part for me was definitely P-Rod’s followed closely by Omar but from speaking to friends outside, it seemed that Chet Childress had quite a few fans. Everyone seemed to find the film/skit concept thing a little hard to follow (again, something that will probably be made clearer by the DVD) and the film definitely didn’t have the polished look I thought it would – it was no Yeah Right – but it wasn’t really trying to be either. It seemed that it was filmed in different formats and those changes gave the film a raw feel. Anyway, I look forward to seeing the film properly and will give it a full review then. For now though, click read more to see a few photos from the night.

There was quite a line to get in.

They had specially made “red carpet.” I like that kind of attention to detail!

Registrating. If you weren’t properly on the list you had to have photo ID and go through a full body cavity search first.

Some of the kids inside.

Another crowd shot.

The VIP lounge. We got couches and food all night!
