Ann Summa is a photographer from LA. Summa covered the LA punk scene in the 70s and 80s. I stumbled upon this piece on her on BoingBoing.net and was fascinated. I haven’t seen any of this work before! She has just finished up an exhibition at the Track 16 Gallery in Santa Monica in which she has release a large format book entitled The Beautiful And The Damned. Worth a buy if you’re as intrigued by this as I am.
