World Snowboard Day is happening this Sunday December 23rd! While I support the thrust of the movement, a little consideration by EuroSIMA and the World Snowboard Federation for their southern hemisphere brothers and sisters wouldn’t have gone astray. It is likely that we will be celebrating the day in 33 degree heat which makes snowboarding VERY difficult, just ask Max Cookes. I gather the day is similar in style to Go Skateboarding Day, which just gets events around the sport happening all around the world on one day.
