Tony Hawk has got a rad little interview up on the Black Book website. The interview is all about being CEO of Tony Hawk Inc. and his growth in skating. When asked if he just rode a wave of popularity to the top he says, “I was doing it when it wasn’t popular at all and when I was at the top of the ranks, and then I was doing it at a time when I was at the top of the ranks and it was extremely popular. I’ve seen it go through these cycles and never quit doing it, so in a way I was lucky but at the same time, I felt like I never left it and I never stopped getting better at it.” Worth checking out – For the full interview, head over here.
