Regular readers of the site will have noticed that there is a lot in the world that bothers me… Like road safety commercials. That’s right, I have something against these so called ‘life saving’ campaigns. Why? I hear you ask (and if you didn’t, I’m going to tell you anyway). Well, the driver is always the bad guy for hitting the pedestrian. Call me crazy, but to my mind, the driver was doing what you are meant to do on a road… driving. It’s the pedestrian that’s out of place. If I were creating the commercials, I would have a kid running across a live firing range and getting totally owned by the guy with the biggest gun, then put a sign up that says “If its metal and moving fast, STAY OUT OF THE FUCKING WAY!” And after that entertaining anecdote, click the above Youtube, watch in horror and add your own abuse under the cut. Be warned, if I am on a mountain and see you riding one of these Venomsnow Switchboards, you WILL be the kid in my commercial…
