Spike Jonze decided to take a trip to Yemen with the Vice co-founder, Shane Smith, for the upcoming MTV investigative series, Vice Guide To Everything which premieres in December. The guys were apparently detained while searching for Al Qaeda for the show. They paid their US$8,000 “fine” in cash to the appropriate people and were on their way. Great promo for the show!
