In The News Feat. Victoria’s Secret 2010

In the second installment of the returned ‘In The News’ we have Ricky Gervais, the hacking group Anonymous, the first Red Epic, a bad ass drunk Serbian who took out a killer shark and the 2011 Victoria’s Secret parade photos… Enjoy!

Ricky Gervais On Athiesm – I am most definitely atheist and this article from Ricky Gervais puts the argument around faith, belief and the burden of proof in a very clear and entertaining way. If you’re not religious, and especially if you are, this is worth a read.

Guardian on Anonymous – If you’re at all interested in the hacker group Anonymous, this is an interesting little article. After their recent high profile targets, including Master Card, Visa and PayPal along with their successful Gawker Media hack, they have been getting a fair amount of media attention. The Guardian took a look at how they are run.

First US$58,000 Red Epic Ships – One for the camera geeks… The first, hand machined, Red Epic has shipped to the head of OffHollywood. I’m not going into tech details here cause I don’t know enough about it, but for those with an interest, there’s a tonne of photos and info through the link. Looks incredible.

Drunk Tourist Takes Out Killer Shark – No matter how big your weekend was, it was nothing compared to this. A drunk Serbian on holiday in the Red Sea area of Egypt jumped off a high dive and landed on the head of a shark that had killed one person. The shark was killed instantly and washed up on the beach later – the Serbian ended up in hospital with alcohol poisoning but once he has recovered, he is getting a free holiday as a reward. Bad ass.
