Gotham Update

Late Friday night, after the Melbourne Death Cab for Cutie show (video & photos coming soon), some of the POP staff made the 5 hour drive up to Victoria’s Mt Hotham…

Now I don’t want to be the negative type but the conditions were less than ideal. If it doesn’t snow soon, I’m going to buy a new surfboard and move north. Still, once we’d paid the ridiculous $28 entry fee scam and managed to get to the ticket booth to pay my $86 dollars for a lift pass, fun times were had by all. As always with Hotham, the best times are had jumping ropes and signs in Heavenly Valley. Whilst Q and park guys were working hard to keep the ‘park’ running, it would be great to see Hotham take some of Thredbo’s lead and commit some real slope space for the park crew to work with.
