2009 will see the entry of a new pay-per-issue snowboard magazine into the Australian market. Although details are sketchy at this point, we understand the bi-annual title is owned by the guys that do Surfing World, and will be edited by Russ Holt. Holt has taken his art director, Johnny McCormack from the ACP title, Australian and New Zealand Snowboarding. This begs the question, which title will have the change? Aus/NZ Snow under a new editor/art director combo – or will the new title allow Holt the freedom to do some new things? I’ve contacted ACP looking for more information on their new editor but they are yet to respond. I’ll post more information as we have it… just like 60 Minutes. UPDATE: I received confirmation of the above post today from Doug Lees at Coastal Watch. There will be two issues of the magazine being edited by Russ Holt, who is also going to be online editor for the website.
