Our friend Ben hit up the premiere of 38º South III in Torquay over the weekend. Here’s his run down of the night… “Sponsored by Bird Rock Cafe and Strapper Surf, the video showcased some of Victoria’s best local surfers in both their local spots and overseas. The boys packed out the stadium, with the late arrivals looking for space on the floor for while they (including an intermission and a short tech difficulty) held the crowds attention for just shy of two hours. It’s full of cracker skits, awesome local scenery and incredible waves being shredded by some talented surfers. Keep an eye out for this one. It will be available from Strapper Surf, late January (I think.. I couldn’t hear that well, I was down the back) and is going on sale for $19.95.“
