Shaun White has appeared in a ten minute segment on CNN called Revealed which profiles him and his achievements. The piece is light and is targeted at an audience that has no knowledge of snowboarding or skateboarding. It is interesting for a first time introduction to Shaun but if you’ve been around snowboarding a few years, there really isn’t anything new in there.

As usual, some of the snow media has rushed to criticize White for everything including the composition, editing and content of the feature along with ascribing many details to the piece that don’t actually exist… Great work on their part. In my opinion, the guy is a great ambassador for the sport and is likely to bring new people in and help give the other riders a higher profile in the mainstream media. But that’s just me, what’d you guys think?
