Here’s a little more info on the Billabong Air & Style which went down in Innsbruck last weekend. The event was won by Canadian Mark McMorris who pulled out a Cab 1260 Double Cork in the final to beat Peetu Piiroinen. The crowd were pretty damn stoked early in the first round with Sage Kotsenburg’s cab 1440 double cork – the first done in competition and enough to defeat Sebastien Toutant. However in the second round, McMorris kept Kotsenburg from progressing through. Our own Robbie Walker was there and came in 12th – we’ll have more details from him soon.
