The Laneway Festival happened last weekend in Melbourne and featured the likes of Cut Copy, Chk Chk Chk and a tonne of other bands, most of which I’ve never heard of. Our friends at The Vine have a full review up (check it out here) but the reviews best line comes from our friend Marcus T who in reference to the good fortune with the weather said, “If there is a god, this week he is surely a boat-shoe wearing, paisley shirted hipster on auxiliary floor tom.” Gold.
