Brain Farm have put up a bit of a post on their blog about shooting recently in LA with Ty Evans for their skate project. The guys were testing out the Phantom Flex4K, which can film up to 1000fps and up to 2000 fps in 2K (for this they were at 800fps). It can record in both uncompressed raw or industry-standard compression and the guys were using an Optimo DP Rouge 30-80mm lens. The camera is still a prototype at the moment – there will be a few enhancements to it by the time it reaches productions – but Evans and the crew were pretty happy with what they were getting from it. Check some photos from the shoot above.
