New Australian feature film ‘Newcastle‘ was released to cinemas on the 6th of November. According to their website, the film is “a coming of age tale of elusive dreams and the eternal wave”. From the trailer it kind of looks like ‘Point Break‘ without the bank robbery and more good looking girls. Either way, it does have Shane Jacobsen, so hopefully a bit a bit of toilet humour. It could just be me, but as far as Australian films go, I would much rather support this film than anything Baz Luhrman has going on.
